Finally a litter born during the day!! May 16th, Mishka gave us 7 beautiful puppies to love for the next 8 weeks before they go to new homes. We have named them the gun litter.

FYI: We track birthweight and weigh the pups regularly to make sure that everyone is gaining, even if they are all fat bellied. It's one way to try to catch any problems early before they are dangerous. AndI like the stats portion of keeping track of it all. Birth weight or birth order has little predictive capability for determining final adult weight. We have two that tip the scales at over 100 lbs and they were the smallest in their litter. I think it's just fun information for people to have.
